Ear Infection: Most ear infections follow a viral upper respiratory tract infection. Over the counter nasal decongestant sprays may help open up your eustachian tube, the opening from your nose to your ear. When this plugs up, we get ear infections. Gently blowing your nose with your mouth closed may clear your ears. If not, go see your primary care provider for antibiotics.
