If obese -weight : Loss may allow for period return. If you're inactive – try regular aerobic activity (at least 4 days/week). If severely underweight – ^in bmi may help to restore periods. If an endurance athlete – try cutting back on training. If you have polycystic ovary syndrome, metformin may help. Some birth control pills as well as meds like Progesterone or Provera (medroxyprogesterone) could be used under your gyn supervision.
