A member asked:

Stage 4 lymphoma-- is this a death sentence?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not necessarily: There are some stage IV lymphomas that can be cured with aggressive chemotherapy. Some other cannot be cured but are so slowly growing that people can live years with them, sometimes even going years without treatment, and may die naturally if something else. Best to speak with a qualified hematologist/oncologist to learn about what you or your lives one is facing and the prognosis.
