Depends: It varies somewhat. You would certainly want to make sure you warm up well before starting, that you stretch, and that you have good cushion in your shoes. Sometimes running on a softer surface such as a track or treadmill may be needed. If this does not help, you may want to be checked to determine the cause of your pain. Thank you.
