Neurological reflex: Ice-cream headache, brain freeze, or cold-stimulus headache is cranial pain or headache commonly associated with consumption(particularly quick consumption)of cold beverages or ice cream and frozen drinks.Caused by something cold touching the roof of mouth (palate), resulting from a nerve response causing rapid constriction and swelling of blood vessels, referred from roof of mouth to brain.
