See your doctor asap: Hand infections, especially those on the bottom surface of the hand, can be very serious. If you are having temperature despite the antibiotics, i would be concerned. Not sure why you would be short of breath, but that could represent an allergic reaction to the antibiotic. I would try to talk to your doctor or his office, and if that is not possible, consider going to an urgent care or ed.
