Up fluid intake. : Fluid intake is always important, especially in seniors. This is likely the best thing to do here as anything invasive might make things worse. This man is very old and needs to be treated gently. If he is on an iv, he can get fluids that way. If blood pressure gets lower it would be wise to get to the hospital. Best of luck.

The Lewy Body Dementia symptoms will worsen with insults to the system such as hypo or hypertension, dehydration, electrolyte imbalance or an infectious process (example "UTI"). Also, be careful with this diagnosis, it is very important the timeline. If Parkinson disease motor symptoms start first, last 12 mos before onset of dementia, it is a Parkinson Dementia not LBD.
