Mirena (levonorgestrel) IUD: With most not hormonal iud ovulation is not interfered with and therefore can start trying imediately. With Mirena (levonorgestrel) which is a hormonal iud (progesterone) ovulation and regrowth of lining may take a few months. Can still start trying right away but may take a little longer.
