CT Scan and Anxiety?: I am not sure i get this. A ct scan is not something that is commonly thought of as causing claustrophobia. Now, an MRI is the box with the loud banging.... If you took three different sedatives to get through your scan I am not sure what else would have helped.

CT claustrophobia. : Under-dosing can be the problem. Halcion (triazolam) may be the best. I generally prescribed more than one ill for this condition and instruct patient to take an additional dose in 30 to 45 minutes if still claustrophobic. Need to have a driver. If still problematic, may need to be done under IV sedation. An open MRI may provide the same answer as the ct scan.

Consider use of : acupuncture. Don't use indwelling acupuncture needles (ASP - acupuncture semi-permanent) in the ear if you get an MRI.
