No: Buspar (buspirone) takes several days 2 become effective & works differently than other anti-anxiety meds like benzos that can b taken as needed. It is not known exactly how Buspirone works to relieve the symptoms of anxiety. It is thought 2 work by decreasing the amount & actions of serotonin in certain parts of the brain. Take it as prescribed & go back 2 ur dr 4 discussing ur response & possible se. Thx!

Not recomanded: Buspar, (buspirone) even though can be taken as needed, depending for what indication you are using. Discuss with the doctor who prescribed it for you, will be better advice. Most of these class of medications are more beneficial if taken at a regular basis.
