Could be normal: Laparoscopic incisions go through a healing process similar to any other incision and the umbilical incisions often are a little more sore. When bruising is present, it can feel firmer 5 to 7 days out from surgery. A bruise alone will be fine. If there is redness, drainage, or increasing pain, you should contact your surgeon's office.

Normal or hematoma: What you are describing are common complains after laparoscopic surgery. However, i will highly recommend re-evaluation by your surgeon to rule out wound hematoma or infection.
