See doctor...: Coughing blood, called hemoptysis, is a symptom which requires evaluation. The main etiology for hemoptysis is bronchitis but malignancy can also cause it and therefore malignancy needs to be ruled out. If you are a smoker, you need to quit asap and your doctor can also help with this. See your doctor for evaluation and treatment. You may need to go to er if you are unable to urinate.
