Renal cyst?: Renal cysts are very common, and "usually" without health consequences, but i would still recommend a discussion with your doctor or a kidney specialist (urologist) to be sure that what you call "follicles" are cysts or something else.

See below: Kidneys don't have follicles. Those are in the ovaries. Are you referring to kidney stones or cysts? Stones can hurt sometimes. Cysts usually don't hurt unless they are large or bleed. Kidney stones may be is related to reduced urination or kidney infection. You may want to consult your doctor. May be get urinalysis.
