Dandruff: Dandruff is not dry scalp, but an inflammatin of the scalp that produces flaking skin, and often redness and itch. The two major causes of dandruff are seborrheic dermatitis and psoriasis. Seb derm is easier to treat with dandruff shampoos. Psoriasis needs stronger treatments like tgel, tsal shampoos and a coal tar lotion and a cortisone lotion.You need to treat it every day, and icannot stop.
