Resolve your PTSD: By finding a psychologist or therapist trained in eye movement desensitization & reprocessing (emdr). It is very effective for reducing the distress you are experiencing from reminders of being raped. Post-traumatic stress disorder (ptsd) is treatable with emdr & with cognitive-behavioral therapy. Then you can find a sensitive physician. You have suffered far too long already.

Patience and Support: Your experience is one that, unfortunately, many women I have worked with have also experienced. It can be traumatizing and debilitating to have to revisit old emotional wounds and fears. Find a therapist who will help you through this. Also pick a medical doctor who will be sensitive and patient with you. Finally, be patient with yourself.
