Possible dry eye: There can be many things that cause bilateral eye pain. Dry eyes is the most common. Artificial tears can be used for that. Our types of inflammation or infections can cause pain in the eyes. Eye pain can also be associated with sinus infections, headache syndromes. In general, if general otc remedies do not help your pain after a week or two, you should have an eye doctor look at your eyes.

Ocular or sinus : This may represent anything from sinusitis to inflammation in or around the eyes, to acute glaucoma. An evaluation with a quality eye care professional would be advised.
