I have been prescribed femara (letrozole) and am wondering how most women do on it. The internet blogs are terrifying. Do most gain weight, lose hair, feel tired?

No fear: Yes, some women will gain weight, get thinning hair, most will have bone aches or hot flashes. Some may even lose bone density but overall, Femara (letrozole) is a good drug and its benefits far outweigh side effects. Some go away in time and worse case scenario, they go away if your doc stops the drug. Don't do like the girl in the tv commercial dating a french model. Not all you read in the web is true.
