Ask your doctor: Perhaps you need a mood stabilizing agent or a seronton/norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor. Depending on what your symptoms are, that's what your doctor will prescribe.

Talk to your doctor: If you are taking zoloft (sertraline) for depression or anxiety and do not have an adequate response to it alone, there are other things that can be added to augment its effect. Alternatively, your doctor might conclude that you might do better on a different primary medication. The list of choices is very long for both the primary and augmenting medications. Your doctor can choose from many options.
