Mitchell’s disease is caused by intermittent blocked blood vessels which can cause flushing and pain in the hands, feet, & face-most common legs and feet. The burning pain can be triggered by heat, long standing, exertion, insomnia, alcohol, coffee, & stress. Even the heat from shoes and socks have been known to cause attacks.
