No: Not starting your pill pack will let your body do its own thing. If your cycle is reguler (off the pill) you should expect a period in about a month. The potential flaw in your plan is that you could end up pregnant because you stopped the pill, if it turns out you are not pregnant now. Doing a pregnancy test would not be a bad idea.
