Htn: There are many factors that contribute to hypertension aka high blood pressure, examples weight, family history, comorbid conditons....I try to explain to my patients that we address all those factors which are correctable for HTN and if not able to fully correct then blood pressure medication is necessary, and at that point it could be lifetime.Htn.
