Lip balm or change: Most of my patients are intolerant to the CPAP and we have converted them to the use of a mas (mandibular advancement splint). I use one personally--have for 7 years.See your sleep doc to verify correct functioning of your bipap, or seek a consultation with a trained sleep dentist. You can find one at: www.Aadsm.Org. Good luck.

Options: Try a moisturizing balm. Try adjustment in conjunction with your sleep MD or technician. Some patients can use a dental jaw advancement appliance. In some cases, surgery works best.
