No med w/o SE: There are no medications without (potential) side effects. However, just because a side effect might occur, doesn't mean that it will occur in you. In the states, there are many options for contraception but unfortunately, I do not know what's available in sri lanka. Ask about hormone pills, patches, shots & rings. If you don't want any (more) children ever, consider essure which blocks tubes.
