Took two sets of Flagyl and one round of doxycycline. First Culture showed nothing and second showed BV. I had fallopian tube swelling but it is lessened according to us. Doc wants third round of flagyl? Is this normal. Afraid its pid from iud?
Diagnosed with PID 2 days ago. Tho Ive had no symptoms except period pain and now ovulation pain,but period pain I had since they started. Doc gave me 500mg azithromycin x2 daily for 3 days. Will it clear my PID and Ill get fine? Stomach upset lot?
I have all symptoms of PID except discharge. Over years myself & partners have been tested for sti's and always clear. I have 2 iud fitted before could they have caused a none sti leading to PID? Is discharge essential? What else could this be?
