Should i tell my ent that i suspect non hodgkins lymphoma?

Why?: Even if you have swollen lymph nodes there are many things that cause it. If u r concerned the. Do tell your ENT and it is fairly simple to determine. A blood test and possible a small biopsy in the office as well as perhaps a chest x-ray may rule in or out a lymphoma. Are you having other symptoms that make you suspicious? Weight loss? Night sweats? Fevers?

Yes: I am not sure why are you suspecting lymphoma but it matters especially if a lymph node biopsy is needed. A complete excision of lymph node might be needed for accurate diagnosis . Often times a sample of the lymph node (fna biopsy) fails to reveal diagnosis of lymphoma because there isn't enough tissue.
