Not usually: Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) is a stimulant -- and more often leads to weight loss even though this isn't the reason it's being prescribed.

No: Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) decreases the appetite and is more likely to result in weight loss. Are you prescribed adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine)? If yes, address ur concerns to your doctor. Otherwise, please do not try to take it on your own even if it is "just to try" like some people do. Be safe, ok? Thank you..

Not likely: Stimulants generally reduce appetite, but if there is a significant change since starting the medication it may be rare but conceivable that it might triggering some form of obsessive eating as stimulants can increase some anxiety features. I have never seen this in > 25 yrs, but this should be discussed with the prescribing physician and studied further.
