Mondor's Disease: Probable thrombosed dorsal vein of penis or superficial venous thrombophlebitis. Should not be a problem, not like deep vein thrombosis of leg or coronary thrombosis. Commonest causes are masturbation or excessive sex. Penile swelling should settle down in time. This should not be confused with priapism, which is an erection which fails to go away & can be due to internal penile vessel thrombosis.

Here are some ...: Not all parts of body are born in the same strength so that certain people get diseases somewhere and others don't, like the occurrence of inguinal hernia; likewise, penile veins do. What you described is "exactly" another example. Now that it happens as venous injury, it will take time to heal eventually as scar, which will exist "forever" at its eventual form of healing. Time will tell.
