Infection or contact: Folliculitis(infection around and at hair follicles) and allergic contact dermatitis both can have this symptom/sign. You'd better check it with dermatologists.

Unsure: With crabs, blue spots may show on the skin where the lice have been feeding. Nits (eggs) may be noted on the pubic hairs.These lesions would likely need to be examined and more history obtained to be able to provide you with useful input about the diagnosis or possible treatment.
