Allergy vs infection: First, try using a nasal saline was daily for several days. See an ear, nose, throat specialist who will look with a scope to see if there is truly inflammation. You may need an intranasal antihistamine or steroid. If symptoms persist after that, dr may suggest ct scan to look for chronic sinusitis, which could require antibiotics for one month.
