Fibromyalgia: Fibromyalgia with attendant irritable bowel syndrome (ibs) can explain your symptoms, but if this is the explanation these symptoms would have come on gradually. If you have had sudden onset and feverishness or chills, then an acute viral illness becomes a consideration. With fibromyalgia the mental changes are called "fibro fog".
