Most likely YES: I am not familiar with california law, but in most states having had two seizures requires forfeiture of your drivers license for a variable period of time.Reinstatement usually requires a physician statement attesting that you are seizure free for some period of time, compliant with your medications, and that you are compliant with medical follow-up. Unfortunately yes: The state of california has a law of a minimum of 3-6 months of seizure freedom before your license can be reinstated. There are exceptions with one of them being that the seizure only occurs during sleep. The law also states that the doctor is required to report your seizures with the department of motor vehicles.
