Dry skin: Dry skin needs more moisture. Using a cream, not lotion can help. Use twice daily--cetaphil cream, cerave cream, eucerin cream. Fungus can also occur on feet and can last until treated. See your doctor to find out if it's fungus or just dry skin.

Emollients: You could start by using something like a & d ointment before going to bed. The oils in nuts are known to maintain healthy skin. Just do not eat too many on a daily basis. There is a product called regenicel which is very effective in healing dry fissured skin.
