Aortic Valve : Six weeks post op you should be starting to feel spiffy but post op fatigue is very common. It may not be the atenolol, talk to your doctor and discuss. We have lots of meds if the atenolol needs to be switched.

Change dose: You can either change the dosage to a smaller dose and use a different medicine if you have high bp. If you don't have high blood pressure or coronary artery disease you can stop it for a while and see what happens.
