Some advice: 1. Find a rehab doc who specializes in pain management. Some physiatrists focus in area 2. Although opioids may be useful, adverse events, such as drowsiness, constipation, nausea not uncommon. 3. Drugs useful in neurology may help, such as gabapentin, lyrica, (pregabalin) cymbalta, tricyclics, etc.
