Allergic reaction: This could be pseudoacanthosis nigrocans found in heavy set people, or people with endocrine problems. It could also be an allergic reaction to fragrance. It is impossible to make definitive diagnosis. See physician for possible blood tests and treatment with prescription creams to decrease itching amd gradually lighten color.
