UTI or concentrated: Urine with a UTI can be foul smelling, somtimes like "rotten fish". Concentrated urine, if you have not taken in much fluid or have been perspiring a lot, can have a strong smell. Thirdly some foods such as asparagus can cause urine to smell strongly.
