Diazepam withdrawal: In order to avoid serious physical and psychological withdrawal symptoms, the dosage of diazepam must be reduced slowly. The best thing to do is to work with experienced physicians or be referred to a detox center. Many medications are contraindicated and the use of other sedatives may or may not help. Antidepressants, anti-epileptics, or beta blockers can be used. Magnesium supplements may help.

What you need to ask yourself why are you anxious. Are you anxious because you have a secondary problem such as medical condition for example cardiac condition, thyroid condition, middle ear condition.
