Can i be a speech pathologist if i have a hearing impairment?

Speech pathologist: I think you can, especially if your hearing disorder is acquired as an adult and did not result in a speech disorder on yourself. Speech pathologist are extremely vital in the rehabilitation process of stroke victims and young people with dyslexia. Visit with an ENT or audiologist to identify the cause of your hearing problem and improve your audition with available therapies. I wish you success.
