Yes if risk of STD: Unprotected sex with a new partner is always risky. Persistent stinging or new vaginal discharge needs to be checked by family or gyn dr. Less need for worry if he used a condom and stinging didn't last long.

Well,..: This should get better in time. If sex in the future is going to be with a large penis, than vaginal lubrication may help decrease the chance of pain. Even normal size penises may cause pain in certain positions or with different "forces" of sexual positions, so find the best position that is most pleasurable for you and let your partner know to be more gentle if need be, Best wishes.
