Need more data: Daily antibiotics is a treatment for patients with 3 or more urinary tract infections per year. They prevent about 90% of infections reducing the rate significantly. There are other treatments. Control of constipation with laxatives reduces UTI by 85% in children. Vaginal estrogen if post menopausal is very effective. Make sure there is not an anatomical reason---bladder does not empty or oth.
