Complex issue: My first response is when you are emotionally ready for the commitment. There are some benefits to the early 20's due to lower risk of Down syndrome or other chromosomal issues but all pregnancies at any age have at least 4% risk of an unexpected outcome.(premi, defect, infection, cleft palate, etc.) a visit to a geneticist affiliated with a med school or children's hospital can give you more info.
