I was prescribed cipro (ciprofloxacin) a few weeks ago. the day after my last dose my hands began to swell and still do, especially when i sleep. is that normal?

NO: Swelling hands is not normal, and the fact that you took Cipro (ciprofloxacin) weeks ago, probably may have nothing to do with it. If you had a cellulitis like infection the Cipro (ciprofloxacin) was treating, then when stopped, it returned, that may be a correlation. Either way, swelling/edema is something that you should get cheked out by your dr. Good luck.
