Alcohol Withdrawal: Yes. The simple answer is yes. If you are drinking heavily or feeling like you have to drink to not die you are probably in trouble and need help during this dangerous time. If you cannot stop drinking or binging you can find all of the help you need as long as you ask for help. There will first be a medically safe detox and then treatment and education about the disease of addiction.

Yes!: 3 days is the usual time that sever withdrawal symptoms can occur after a binge--and they are very, very dangerous. 5-15% progress to the dts -"delerium tremens"--which untreated has a high death rate. One must seek immediate treatment upon suspicion of withdrawal at this point.

Yes it can...: Depending on how much you drink during a "binge" and how often you have binges, you can have alcohol withdrawal symptoms starting as soon as the first day after up to several days after. That is why bingeing on a regular basis is considered a form of alcoholism.
