Constipation: You should definitely see a doctor to make sure you are not getting a bowel obstruction, you should go more urgently if you feel nauseous or more abdominal pain. After you are seen by a doctor, you can consider adding more fiber and water to your diet, a stool softener can also help as can eating prunes, but please see a doctor to make sure you are ok.

Not really: Some people are just constipated. Usually it's what we eat. I would add lots (30gm) of fiber and water. This may be enough. If not, add stool softeners. Body does get dependent on laxatives and perhaps softeners so i would try other natural products ( prunes, certain teas ...). Also c ur doctor as it can b a sign of medical condition.
