Maybe or maybe not: Atypical presentations of group b strep without a fever can occur. But typically strep throat usually has fever, isolated sore throat and no congestive symptoms. A large number of sore throat however can be attributed to a viral condition. Have your primary run a rapid strep test if concerned.
