?Pertussis: Difficult to say as there are numerous causes of cough and not knowing what was found on your physical exams and/or testing. I would be suspicious of pertussis (whooping cough) if that has not been ruled out yet.

Cough,cough, cough..: Is the cough more in the night time, did it start with fever, any hsitory of asthma in the family? Cough is not easy to diagnose over the web. It could be something simple or complex like allergic cough/foreign bodyaspiration, asthma, etc. Did she have any x-rays done?
