Not likely with this: It is not likely with the information you have given.She has marginally elevated SGPT which in my view is not that significant and may be repeated and there is no evidence here to suggest cancer.

Insufficient info: Elevated SGPT and SGOT are very non specific signs of cancer. Your mother should see a gastroenterologist for those changes. Causes such as infection, fatty liver, medication adverse effect etc need to be worked up as persistent elevation in those values is not healthy.
