Small varicoceles OK: Small varicoceles, only diagnosed by ultrasound usually require no treatment unless ur infertile and semen analysis reveals reduced numbers of motile sperm. Right scrotal pain is not related to l-sided varicocele & probably due to any one of several causes of testicular pain.

May not be related..: - almost 10-15% of men have some degree of varicocele above left testis, but some 10% may be bilateral; oftentimes, it's noted as an incidental finding on us for assessing scrotal pain or swelling; - most of varicoceles are asymptomatic; - intermittent testicular pain with highly variable onset (usually acute), intensity, duration, and interval should alarm one to think about intermittent torsion.
