Apthous Ulcer: The most common white sore in the mouth is apthous ulcers. They are also referred to as canker sores. Most medication are aimed to reduce the pain and they generally self-resolve in 7-14 days. People that have one will often have others throughout their life. We are not sure the cause but think it is an overactive immune response. Stess seems to bring them on. You dentist may be able to help.
