SE's: Clonazepam: Clonazepam is part of the benzodiazepine group of medications. These are sedatives and anti-anxiety medications. Benzo's (as they are known) are very addictive. They cause calmness and sedation. It is very hard to break a benzo addiction. So, please use this drug sparingly and very carefully.

There are many...: Clonazepam is a benzodiazepine drug having anxiolytic, anticonvulsant, muscle relaxant, sedative, and hypnotic properties. Side effects include drwsiness, mental and physical sluggishness, confusion, lack of motivation. Other long-term effects include tolerance, dependence, and withdrawal syndrome, which occurs in a third of people treated for longer than four weeks.
